COMMISSION A PAINTING
I am foremost a horse, dog and cat portrait artist and reside in the northwest Chicago suburb of Bartlett, IL. Commission meaningful art for cherished memories of your beautiful furry friends. My original paintings encompass a variety of subjects. I also enjoy painting beaches and landscapes. A National Fine Arts Title Registration Certificate is provided for each original artwork for authenticity.
ARTIST TECHNIQUE
As an artist, I believe there are important elements I must capture in a custom animal portrait painting:
1) the unique bone structure
2) the shapes of the muscles
3) the texture and unique hues of the fur or hair
4) the shape of the eyes
5) capturing the light spectrum that bounces off surrounding surfaces unto the subject from every angle
6) correct color mixing to define the depth and dimensions of the subject and surround areas
Most of all, my goal is to create personal artwork that brings joy to the eye of the beholder.

ABOUT CANVAS PRINTS
Canvas Prints or Giclee's are reproductions on canvas. Canvas prints are of such wonderful quality and look most similar to an original artwork. You don't mount glass over the canvas. I highly recommend Canvas Prints to get the same feel as an original painting.
